The Anacortes School District welcomes and uplifts students of all identities.  We affirm that every student is entitled to an educational environment that is safe and free of discrimination regardless of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, as established by state and federal law.  We are committed to inclusive practices and policies that support transgender and gender-expansive students with respect to key terms, communication, the use of names and pronouns, student records, confidential health and education information, restroom and locker room accessibility, sports and physical education, dress codes and other school activities.
