School Supplies for the 2023-24 School Year 

As an enrolled student in the district, your child will automatically receive the following:

  • District-issued student laptop (and accessories)
  • Anacortes Public Library card

Below are the supply lists for students in Anacortes School District schools. 

Kindergarten  

6 or more small tip dry erase markers (Expo brand- black only)
2 boxes of 24 count (at least) Crayola crayon box
24 #2 Pencils (Ticonderoga preferred & pre sharpened if available)
10 pack Crayola brand washable markers (Broadline Classic Colors) 
1 set small watercolor paints (Prang/Crayola preferred)
8 glue sticks
1 pair small scissors (Fiskar brand preferred)
Kleenex & quart-size ziploc bags (Last name A-M) 
Baby wipes & gallon-size ziploc bags (Last name N-Z) 

1st Grade

(for Challenge, see below) 

1 Pack of black, fine tip markers whiteboard markers 

36 pre-sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga only)

1 pair of scissors (Fiskars preferred)

1 Box of Crayons 24+ (Crayola only)

1 Large pack of Glue Sticks

1 set of watercolors (Crayola or Prang only)

1 Box of gallon-sized Ziploc Bags

2nd Grade

Basic supplies will depend on your student's learning style (e.g. do they like individual notebooks per subject/ or one notebook?), and your student's schedule. Schedules are provided before school starts. Supplies are determined by teacher. We recommend all students bring a notebook and writing utensil.
