Reopening Update

We are excited to welcome some students back to our buildings for in-person learning on Monday. As you know, students in grades K-3 will return to schools on November 2, and grades 4-5 on November 9. Students will return on a half-day schedule M,T,R,F, with a remote learning day on Wednesday.  We continue to plan for middle school students to return in early December, and high school students on February 8. If you have questions, please contact your principal

We know this return to in-person learning is also causing some anxiety and fear among us. Please understand that the safety of our staff and students remains our highest priority. Our teams have planned and prepared our buildings to ensure everyone's health and safety to the very best of their ability.

Daily Attestation Process

We will send families a daily email reminder to submit their student's health attestation form. These will ask you to confirm that your child is not exhibiting any COVID-related symptoms. If they are, please keep your child home and contact your school’s main office. Families must submit the health attestation each day before your child arrives at school or their bus stop.

Notification Process

As we bring students back, the possibility that we will have a positive coronavirus case in one of our schools increases. If we have a suspected case in one of our buildings, we will work closely with Skagit County Health to conduct contact tracing and ensure proper notification of close contacts. We are committed to transparent communication that also takes into account student and personal privacy.

If you missed this week’s reopening webinar, the video, slide show, and Q&A are posted on our website: https://sites.google.com/asd103.org/anacorteslearns/fall-2020/community-engagement
