How do I register my child in school?

The following items are required in order for you student to register for school in the Anacortes School District

  1. Copy of Birth Certificate
  2. Notarized Guardianship form must be provided (if student is living in a home of someone other than his/her legal custodian)
  3. Copy of Child's Immunization Record
  4. Completed Registration Packet

Please be aware that Anacortes School District supports a system of choice for elementary school placement. Students are placed in school according to Anacortes School Board Policy #3131*. You may indicate a preference for placement, if you desire by filling out the Elementary School Assignment Preference Form*

If you intend to Home School your student the Intent to Home School form* must be completed

If you will be living outside of Anacortes School District but would like to send your student to Anacortes Schools the Non Resident form* must be completed.
