Please join ASD staff and community members for a screening of Resilience: The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope on Monday, June 12, 6:30 - 8:15pm at the Anacortes Public Library.

This hour-long film delves deeply into the brain science of childhood trauma and toxic stress, sometimes referred to as Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs.  ACEs are widely considered one of the most critical public health challenges facing communities of every size today and are a leading cause of everything from heart disease and cancer to substance abuse and depression.
