INCREASE SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO PROMOTE HEALTHY CHOICES
• Increase behavior / mental health support programs
• Increase mentor-ship opportunities (adults / kids and teens / younger kids)
• Increase tracking of at-risk kids, develop a systematic approach to early     intervention
• Increase support (including local treatment support options) for current addicts

BUILD AWARENESS ABOUT DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
• Develop a communications / messaging calendar using the communication tools already existing within the community (school, law enforcement, hospital, city newsletters, neighborhood assns., faith / civic group newsletters, etc)
• Increase education for parents, students, service and health care providers, etc
• Create (update?) a resource guide for mental health / substance abuse

DEVELOP A SAFE PLACE FOR KIDS, TEENS, AND FAMILIES
• Include a team to plan a calendar of family activities (don’t wait for a building)
